Pride in the Cougars Den

While it’s never easy to see a season come to a close, we are especially proud of the resilience this group of players has shown this year.  Despite any adversity, they never stop giving 110%.  The Cougars finished 3rd in the standings this year, with an impressive points total on the season.  They won round 1 of playoffs, emerging victorious over the Huntsville Otters in 4 games.  They overcame a 3-1 series deficit against the Alliston Hornets, only to roar back and tie the series, ultimately forcing a game 7.  While they didn’t come out the victor in that game 7, they displayed an unmistakable drive and passion for the game and to represent their team.  Congratulations boys, we are all so proud of you!

We wish all the best to our overage players, Austin McKibbon, Anthony Roberts, Luke Miehm and Cameron Kokelj.  We know you will succeed in all of your future endeavours.  We hope to see you back in the rink often to visit with your Cougars family.  Remember, once a Cougar always a Cougar.

A special thank you to our outstanding coaching staff.  Your devotion to the team and the players never wavers and we appreciate all you do!

Last but not least, thank you to our dedicated fans who cheer on the squad both at home and on the road!
